Harm reduction is an approach to public health policy. It encourages a broad spectrum of strategies for reducing harm associated with risky behaviors. It’s present in many ways already but is increasingly used in working with people who take drugs or engage in sex work. It presents solutions beyond zero tolerance strategies and treats people with dignity and compassion. From pen caps to condoms to clean needles and seat belts, find out how harm reduction protects individuals and communities.
If you’re already familiar with harm reduction please feel free to attend and share some of your own experiences!
